I actually decided to go for Level 2. I won't stop practicing until I hit at least 80%. But it's good to know that I don't have to aim for 95%.

So they change the difficulty level of each new test based on the results of previous tests, with the goal of getting a pass rate of 26% and a pass score of 60% correct answers? Impressive. So that means getting 60% of the answers right on a relatively recent practice test is probably a good indicator.

they can't both be true. I'll look at Gurulu, but I'll leave the question open for now.

Thanks for the explanation of how the scoring works. So this means that only 25% can pass each exam, by design? Now I just need a way to figure out how many correct answers that 25% typically gets.

I had 11/20 correct answers in the listening part and 19/20 in the reading part. So at least I know what to work on :-)

@StumpyJoePete thanks. I assume you're referring to Tatoeba? That is indeed similar to what I'm trying to do and they are using the Wikimedia data. Of course I stubbornly believe I can do even better :-)
