氏視是十獅,恃矢勢,使是十獅逝世。

氏拾是十獅屍,適石室。

comment What is an idiom that describes aiming for high achievement or success but not forgetting one's roots?
Why not use both together? Why does there have to be an idiom that combines both?

You could remember that "right" (右) has a "box" in it. Boxes have with right angles, you see.

comment Using 色 with colors
It depends on the context. By using a color word, that color is implied, you can also use (color)+ 的 to refer to the respective blocks. E.g. A: 可以给我那本书吗? B: 那一个? A: 你右手边红色的那本。

comment Difference between 合适 and 适合
@Dan Please tell me what doesn't sound right. Under "Comprehensive Chinese-English Dictionary" in the entry you mentioned it says that it is a verb, under the Collins it's an adjective. The Contemporary Chinese Dictionary remains the most authoritative and popular account of the modern Chinese language.

comment Difference between 合适 and 适合
I've heard that although both can be used as a predicate. E.g., 这种工作对他很合适 and 这件衣服适合你的体形 If 合适 is used as a predicate, it cannot be followed by a object. While 适合, must be follow by an object or another word when it is used as a predicate. I've seen conflicting uses of this online so I cannot be sure.
