I am a PhD candidate in machine learning at KU Leuven in Belgium. My research focuses on kernel methods for nonlinear, large-scale and semi-supervised learning, specifically all sorts of SVM formulations. I am the author of EnsembleSVM, a free software package for ensemble learning with SVM base models.
My technical interests include machine learning, programming idioms, software compilation and scientific computing. I usually program in C++ and make heavy use of MATLAB for algorithm prototyping.
Most of my research articles are posted on the arXiv.
