Have been learning Chinese for about 10 years now. Although I get to practice every day with my wife and family, I am still only average.

Where I live is about 80% Chinese speakers so I have plenty of people to practice with and it's like living in China without actually being there.

@QuestionOverflow - I was unable to catch you when you were online. I checked the suggested edited from Daniel and instances where I saw 部队未接收他 online say that: "The military rejected him". I am not claiming this as correct, but it is what I am seeing. Can you confirm your understanding is correct?
