Have been learning Chinese for about 10 years now. Although I get to practice every day with my wife and family, I am still only average.

Where I live is about 80% Chinese speakers so I have plenty of people to practice with and it's like living in China without actually being there.

comment Does chinese songs have a natural word order?
Good question, but your explanation of why this is done in English is incorrect. It has to do with rhythm and not with rhyme. Correct grammar would be "I spent all my change on you" which still rhymes.

@KevinThompson - No, it is definitely relevant because it's your question. Can I confirm who you would be saying this to, I am trying to understand if this case is rare are you talking to your friends online about running in to someone locally or something else is going on?

comment Is there on-line Thesaurus of Association for Chinese language?
Can you please update your question so that it can be clearly understood. From searching Google it appears that "associative dictionary" is not a clearly defined English term. It appears it may be brought across from Russian. Your question is at risk of being closed as not a real question.

comment Understanding different Chinese writing styles
When I see different peoples Chinese writing there are a few different styles and some similar changes people make. Are they taught these in class or would someone copy something they see in a book and teach themselves?
