Should Chinese text be grid aligned in game dialogs? Bad example, the example is list-item style text, line wrapping them up is a bad idea, and I assume the line wrap is at right border which is not exceeded. |

How to say “we want what is best for our kids”? IMHO, "我们要给孩子(们)最好的。" is better. |

How can I pronounce 绿 (lü4 - green)? @Jon I changed it to [ri:], that's the best similar pronounce I can think of (or maybe I'm a native speaker I can read it correctly no matter how). Hope it worked. (Btw, down votes doesn't matter no matter who gives.) |

“Like I said…” in Chinese After the edit by gonnastop, this answer seems to be the most natural/native way. the more impatient/angry way is 我不是说了吗!. |

Are there differences in writing between Chinese languages, such as Mandarin and Shanghainese Not completed, in the Shanghai area (mid-east China, usually called south China, too), people neither say Mandarin nor Cantonese, And mid west area, etc... I think young people can understand Mandarin because school teach this ONLY. |

Saying “I have to go” in chat @Cocowalla The 得 in this sentence is pronounced (děi). 走了啊! means "Bye bye (in face to face conversation, don't use in forum or over phone)" and 我得走了 means "I should/must leave now". My English is not good enough to translate to native level, just approximate. As @ShouYa's answer, 我得走了 is way better than 我走了 in conversation. |

How to say “cool” in Chinese Could you give some example when you use "wicked" and "sweet"? No one answered these words yet and maybe because it's hard to translate directly. |

Which classifier for window (窗户) is regularly used? Not really, 窗户 is invalid for computer interface window, use 窗口 for that. |

What syntax is acceptable for classifier + noun + adjectival phrase If I change 好 to 精彩(exciting), 精彩书一本 or 精彩的书一本 still very wired, maybe because 好 is an one word adj. or maybe it's a magic word? |

Where can I find recordings of people reading things now that mp3.baidu.com is dead? Thanks for the tip, I shared some link to there. :) and edited my answer to remove some link because I forgot the region restriction issue. |
