I am a gamer, programmer, and a wannabe linguist who is fluent in English and Mandarin, and proficient in French.

I am an achievement hunter. Come and visit me on trueachievements.com

I am also an administrator on Wiktionary and have been for over 3 years. I edit mostly in French, Dutch, English and Mandarin, but I also dabble in Italian, Japanese, Maori and Swedish. We are constantly looking for competent volunteers/lexicographers to contribute to this wonderful multilingual dictionary website.

comment 屌丝“ seems to be a ”dirty word" but also accepted and openly used. Am I missing something?
@AveMaleficum The opinion part is about 'why it can be accepted and openly used', not 'whether it's accepted and openly used'. Note the difference.

comment App similar to “I learn Chinese”, but for traditional Chinese
This question is really about incidental knowledge and is not about Chinese language itself. Closing as offtopic. Try a forum that caters to iPad apps.

It's interesting, but it's still an opinion.

revised How do you say “to get back at someone”? Is it 找晦氣 or 找負氣?
removed Cantonese from the title as it's already in the list of tags.

comment How do you say “to get back at someone”? Is it 找晦氣 or 找負氣?
Nope, it means 'to exact revenge upon', not 'to avenge'. 找你晦气 would mean to exact revenge upon you, not to avenge you, which pretty much means the opposite.

I am not sure what you meant by 'both are rarely spoken'? Why would they be rarely spoken?

Is there any reason why you romanised the Hokkien section? Wouldn't it just be blatantly obvious, if you had written everything in Chinese characters?

comment Confusion when describing the location of something using A在B的location pattern?
@AlexMorrise The question is which of the two exampless given should be used if one were to say: the library is in front of the dorm. It's not clear that this is the question due to the OP's confusing punctuation and paragraphing usage.
