I am a gamer, programmer, and a wannabe linguist who is fluent in English and Mandarin, and proficient in French.

I am an achievement hunter. Come and visit me on trueachievements.com

I am also an administrator on Wiktionary and have been for over 3 years. I edit mostly in French, Dutch, English and Mandarin, but I also dabble in Italian, Japanese, Maori and Swedish. We are constantly looking for competent volunteers/lexicographers to contribute to this wonderful multilingual dictionary website.

comment 造反有理 革命無罪: What are the standard English translations of this?
Um.. renovate just doesn't make sense here. You 'renovate' a house by repainting/refurnishing it. It has nothing to do with 革命, which is usually translated as 'revolutionise'.

You mean to revolt, not renovate surely? Unless you are talking about renovating a house...

comment What does 了 mean in this sentence 曾在新西兰Berger king 做过汉堡,当过收银员。这份工作让我认识到了团队合作的重要
Wrong. It indicates the perfective aspect.. not past tense.

@SamuelParsonage The guy gave you what you wanted, I think it's only fair for you to upvote the answer and accept it in return. It's not fair to ask for a translation of the whole sentence in the answer without you showing any effort in doing so.

I agree with hippie, 'over' is what I would use here. As for the topic, what have you tried?

I think the op is looking for an answer that covers this topic more holistically

comment Do the Chinese have a (potentially politically incorrect) way of imitating English speakers?
叽哩哇啦 maybe? Usually means speaking loudly, but can also refer to someone talking in an incomprehensible language (to an outsider, they are simply shouting out nonsense). But this is not specific to any language and is not particularly offensive.

comment App similar to “I learn Chinese”, but for traditional Chinese
@AveMaleficum This is not for me to decide. Open a question on Meta for the mods and other regular users to mull over the options.
