Let's say there's normally a pause after 万 normally, when you saying it. So, that makes the "2万" in the "两百二十二万" to be the ending digit, and therefore, using "二" here would sounds native. And indeed as Wayne point out, there's no "两十" as far as I know. It might be because of "廿" normally represent twenty, or twenty something, especially in southern China. | |
