Probably a virus

I need to uninstall a virus but this message keeps popping up. I can't uninstall it until I guess correctly what it is. I am assuming it is Chinese as Google Translate picked up the first word 'fun'. Any help would be highly appreciated.

  • 乐逗边蛀 random misaligned sequence of characters with wavy line, user required to type in as security measure? – user6065 May 29 '17 at 20:27
  • you should post a question or google the name of so called "virus" to find a proper way to remove it. – mootmoot Jun 19 '17 at 17:32

Why did you install a virus? Strange thing to do!

Must be a captcha. It says 乐 逗 边 蛀 lè dòu biān zhù so now you need Chinese input.

When you enter it, your computer will be permanently, irretrievably linked to the Department of Homeland Security in Washington! Have fun with that!

  • I didn't get this part about the Washington security. What do you mean? – Rodrigo May 30 '17 at 1:06
  • It is just a joke. – Tang Ho May 30 '17 at 3:33
  • I actually meant to remove the activate Windows 10 sign. I thought it would do that. I did not know it would be a virus. – Jazib Iqtidar May 30 '17 at 11:47

I have no idea of what system you are running. If your system happens to be Windows 8.1, or the likes, there is a system restore function built in the system, which can help user go back to a previous system, such as a former updated, point, or something like that. In this way, the above-mentioned software, or evil settings, will be undone, as you wish.

  • Thanks for the feedback, but i actually found an anti-virus that removed it. Goes by the name of Zamana. – Jazib Iqtidar Jul 20 '17 at 8:50
