Looking at an original of a print and would love to know the artist.

  • I cannot read the second character on the seal. Anyone any ideas? First character = 傅, last character (maybe) = 廷. – dROOOze Dec 7 '19 at 10:47
  • @droooze, i agreed the first char is 傅, disagreed with the third one, the radical on the left is 辵 (162), not 廴 (54), about the second one, the right component is 寸 (又 - 手). unfortunately, i'm not yet recognise these two :( – 水巷孑蠻 Dec 7 '19 at 12:02
  • @水巷孑蠻 I know the component is 辵 and not 廴, but these two are sometimes mixed up in historical variants. This might be a variant way of writing the character. Also, 草書 of 廷 looks very close to the last character of the calligraphy. – dROOOze Dec 7 '19 at 12:05
  • @水巷孑蠻 Thank you for the hint on 寸, the second character is 叔. – dROOOze Dec 7 '19 at 12:17
  • @水巷孑蠻 Do you think this is "傅叔進"? – dROOOze Jan 9 at 7:24
