I am using OS X 10.9.2, is there any easy way to transfer traditional Chinese to simplified Chinese? Like some apps? I don't really like using website to do this.

First, paste the traditional Chinese texts into Textedit, select those texts. Then Right-click the texts in Textedit, choose Services/Convert text to simplified Chinese.

On macOS Sonoma, you can select the text in any input field then

right click -> Service > Convert... to do the job:
